Kent International Jamboree
6th August 2009
Three of our Scouts went to KIJ09 on a joint camp with Scouts from 2nd Swanley.
In total, there were over 2,500 young people and leaders at the Jamboree; and our Sub Camp was host to Nigerian, French and Canadian Scouts to mention just a few.
In addition to the huge number of on-site activities, we had a traditional day out in Hastings with fish & chips on the beach; and a water activities day in Whitstable where there were yachts and power boats.
Mark, our Scout Leader, went a bit overboard - but you'll have to ask him about that ;-)
