Group Camp

One of the best things about the Scouts is that we go camping - a lot.
This summer we had a Group camp where those in the Scout section were being taught the following skills:
- Pitching and striking a tent
- Lighting and cooking on an open fire (Backwoods cooking)
- Setting up a stove, and preparing a meal on it
- Keeping a tidy tent and camp site
- Wide games
- Building camp gadgets
What's a Wide Game? Only one way to find out, and that's to come along and join Scouting.
