Cubs' Astronomy Day
25th September 2010
With Intergalactic Space Passports at the ready, twelve Cub Scouts passed through the airlock and into a space-themed adventure.
The afternoon started off with making & launching rockets, followed by transporting some radio-active waste, zero-g space transportation (space hoppers), repelling an alien invasion, and designing & making moon buggies.
The day culminated with a trip to the Astrodome that had been setup in the Sports Hall of Gravesend Grammar School - our host for today’s event.
